- Lead a small player-coach engineering team, setting technical direction across data engineering and application development while contributing to architecture, Python delivery, code review, and stakeholder decisions.
- Built the enterprise integration and data platform from the ground up, scaling it to 100+ Prefect workflow modules across 40+ integration and platform domains with shared Python libraries, typed API patterns, automated retries, monitoring, and environment safeguards.
- Partnered directly with a strategic customer to design, launch, and operate a production multi-tenant portal with FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, and Azure, implementing role- and relationship-based authorization for internal and external users.
- Cut ETL runtime 83%, from hours to minutes, by designing and implementing a company-wide Azure Databricks ingestion architecture with Python, Prefect, Delta Lake, and dbt Core.
- Unified acquired-company data into an enterprise lakehouse, standardizing transformations, tests, documentation, lineage, and deployment patterns for reliable executive and operational analytics.
- Designed, built, and continue to operate production accounts-payable automation with Azure AI Document Intelligence, constrained OpenAI classification, typed validation, IFS integration, and human review; it processed 1,244 invoices in its first week, with AI handling 52% and reaching a 65% daily peak.
- Operationalized AI-augmented software development with Codex and Cursor through repository-aware instructions, reusable skills, isolated worktrees, targeted tests, linting, and human review, accelerating delivery while protecting production.
